You may recall that I made this same poll for biopic Best Actress nominees from the 2020s. I thought it might be fun to look back at the previous decade's biopic nominees! Please choose your three favorite performance from this group! Please note that performances will only be included here if the nominated actresses are playing actual, historical people. "Inspired by", changed name, or amalgam characters won't work here - i.e. Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty, Naomi Watts in The Impossible, and Amy Adams in American Hustle... Let's get to it! Portman in Jackie which is an all timer.
With how wildly historically inaccurate The Favourite is reputed to be are we sure it really counts as a biopic? All these others are going for historical accuracy on some level, The Favourite is pretty much a work of fiction. Like, I don't think anyone would call "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" a "biopic" so a line gets drawn somewhere.

I'm playing fast and loose with the word "biopic" here - i.e. I needed the poll idea to fit into a heading.  While The Favourite is not historically accurate, it is a representation of actual people from history - that's why it's included here. Oh, and definitely agreed on Portman - she was my choice, as well.  |

It was really bothering me that I didn't allow you all to choose three performances, so I removed the poll and added in a fresh one. Plus I'm interested to see what the spread would look like without Colman and Portman dominating the discussion.
