Who do you prefer as an actor? Driver has had more opportunities to play leading roles but both have worked with most acclaimed directors which gives them some good bragging rights. I'm not a massive fan of either tbh (I did like Plemons in Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad) but I am looking forward to Plemons in Kinds of Kindness because Yorgos always delivers with his actors.

Driver has a much more significant career as a leading man than Plemons, but I don't quite get why he's in such demand. I often think he gives the least interesting performance in a lot of his projects ( Like both his recent Ridley Scott films, The Last Duel and House Of Gucci). He can act, but his career is giving early/mid 2000's Jude Law/Clive Owen overkill, where they kept getting cast in everything to try and make them stick. Plemons is a character actor. He's got an interesting nickname ( Meth Damon), because he kinda resembles Matt Damon and was on Breaking Bad, a show about Meth dealers. I dunno, he can also act, but I generally find him to be a less interesting, less charismatic, less compelling version of Philip Seymour Hoffman.Coin toss, I guess I'll pick Driver, because he's had more impactful performances at this stage. But neither excite me. Haven't seen Civil War or Kinds Of Kindness yet, so my opinion may change when I do.

I have never understood the fascination with Adam Driver. Like, I think he's good, but I don't think he's as good as the list of directors he's worked with might suggest, and he's certainly not Jesse Plemons good.
I never really got all his Emmy noms for Girls either, he should have given them back and they should have been taken back in time and given to Plemons for Friday Night Lights.

Plemons could have been upset that his boring light side parents never let him listen to Nirvana, but Driver could never do accounting for Frito Lay

Plemmons is never not good. Driver is rarely good.

To piggyback off of what I said earlier, I'll just add this: Jesse Plemons would've made 65 work.
