On July 17th, the television academy will announce their nominees for the 76th Annual Emmy Awards. For the Comedy Series category, 5 of the 8 slots are pretty much locks. We have The Bear, Hacks, Abbott Elementary, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Only Murders in the Building as your shoo-ins. The real question is, who is going to fill in the other three spots.

Gen V - A spinoff of Amazon Prime's The Boys series. 7.7/10 IMDB rating.
Palm Royale - Lukewarm reception (6.8/10 on IMDB), but prediction sites have this as a strong contender due to its all-star cast.
I'm a Virgo - 7.1/10 IMDB rating. Boots Riley's coming-of-age series, which earned four Independent Spirit nominations.
The Righteous Gemstones - 8.1/10 IMDB rating. Danny McBride's Comedy Crime series.
Dreaming Whilst Black - Nominated for two BAFTA awards, two Independent Spirit Awards, and holds a 7.3/10 IMDB rating.
We Are Lady Parts - 8.2/10 IMDB rating. Nominated for six BAFTA awards (won twice) and two Independent Spirit Awards.
