but his taste is better than PTA's, White man can't jump I love PTA's taste because he has the type of taste where he doesn't give a shit about what others think of his taste.

1. L’Atalante (1934, Jean Vigo) 2. Tokyo Story (1953, Yasujiro Ozu) 3. They Live by Night (1949, Nicholas Ray) 4. Bob le Flambeur (1955, Jean-Pierre Melville) 5. Sunrise (1927, F.W. Murnau) 6. The Cameraman (1928, Buster Keaton/Edward Sedgwick) 7. Mouchette (1967, Robert Bresson) 8. Seven Samurai (1954, Akira Kurosawa) 9. Broken Blossoms (1919, D.W. Griffith) 10. Rome, Open City (1945, Roberto Rossellini) He got a taste www.openculture.com/2015/06/jim-jarmuschs-10-favorite-films.htmlActually in 4 instances he picked my least favorite film from the given director (from what I've seen anyway) - I'd like to stress that they still range from good (Rome Open City, Tokyo Story) to very good (Mouchette, They Live by Night). But Sunrise does make up for that.

Good list I guess. It's pretty average in terms of the actual film variety though. It would be nice if he had some "out there" choices, but it's Jarmusch, so I guess I shouldn't be shocked.
