Random match-up maybe; but let's give it a go...

This is a bad matchup for me - I love everything about Taxi Driver - and I admire evverything about Nashville but don't love it despite my admiration......Nashville is like Raging Bull to me - an indisputably great movie that I don't like much because of all those songs (in Raging Bull's case - all that boxing)....... It's not fair but it's just a personal bias - both are incredibly on target about the country they evoke and the current period they are set in, in the moment (maybe Dog Day Afternoon is also like .......that but it's very rare and even rare nowadays) .......imagine seeing Taxi Driver IN NYC and then walking out on to those streets....or seeing Nashville in Nashville...........and now, for the sake of the children........we must say goodbye Nikountry

To me, it's Taxi Driver for all of the above, but Nashville is excellent.

Yikes. Probably 2 of the most overrated 18 films in film history. Ok, I was going to be a smart-ass and say "Yeah they aren't as good as Spike Lee's Oldboy, huh?" .........BUT now I want to hear your other 16 overrated films........
