That Nicholson-SLJ poll seems to have hit a wall, huh? ............so I figured these 2 co-stars might be good to do a "Better" Poll: Davis is a TC winner and I think Chasstain is likely to win that one day........Davis is older, more lauded across all 3 genres........Chastain has a lot of work already and a crazy work ethic.......the BA Oscar, a Tony & Emmy nod to go with it......

Very close but I think Chastain's highs are a little higher.

Somebody HELP me to choose... hehehe Same. Voted, but if the person I voted for takes a 2+ lead, I'm changing my vote. Sophie's choice indeed

Sophie's choice indeed Filmography wise post-2014 (around the time that I stopped following modern day movies) is easy for me tho. I'd rather watch Fences and Widows over anything the Chas has starred in this past 10 years.

I wonder how people see the next 5 years.........or maybe 10......like I see Chastain having a great run in the next 5-10..... I don't think she's actually peaked .....althogh maybe Davis hasn't either .......Davis' whole career is based in some ways on being underestimated ........both have an odd, interesting desire for female action roles too ........

It’ll be interesting to see how the time she devotes to doing screen work changes if she actually follows through on her recently expressed desire to do a play at least every other year from now on.

I voted Chastain. Viola is too one-note for me, veering between imperiousness and sad sack; this notion that she's the "black Meryl Streep" seems insane to me; she's not a "female Don Cheadle" - I'd take his work in House of Lies on Showtime over her entire film/TV career. Chastain is overrated too, but if I cherry pick her work I find more to like.
