Departed easily for me, and I think it's Scorsese's second-best film (Goodfellas being #1).

The Wolf of Wall St is the only great one.
Killers of the Flower Moon I'll get when it's on video (or at least when it shows up in my library).
I cant get into Gangs of New York. It feels like a Spike Lee kinda sprawl. Its admirable. DDL is obviously awesome. But DiCaprio drags it right back down so it kinda evens out to a decent movie.
The Aviator is just boring.
The Departed is entertaining. But Michael Mann and maybe even Spike Lee did better renditions of undercover/hardcore police work in the same year.
Shutter Island is just lol. Scorsese should know his element. He is not Ingmar Bergman.
But Wolf is undoubtedly great. But 1997-2012 Marty is by far his worst era. No wonder he used to be blasted for this era back in the old IMDB.

I enjoyed The Wolf Of Wall Street, but it kinda just feels like a manifesto for Andrew Tate fans . It's a lesser version of Goodfellas & Casino, in that it basically uses the same structure. Entertaining, but Scorsese had already pretty much made the same movie twice already (switching out gangsters for white collar fraudsters). I don't see it as anything special for that reason. I rewatched The Aviator not long ago, and gained a new appreciation for it. I think that might be their best film together

The Wolf of Wall Street pretty easily imo. The most entertaining film of Scorsese's career, an incisive comment of American capitalism and a culture of excess, and far and away the best performance of DiCaprio's career. Killers of the Flower Moon is a strong runner-up.

I'm a YUGE fan of their first two together, but The Departed all the way.

The Departed for both performance and film. The only one of these I don't care for is The Aviator.
1.The Departed 2.Gangs of New York 3.Wolf of Wall Street 4.Killers of the Flower Moon 5.Shutter Island 6.The Aviator

Wolf of Wall Street is one of Scorsese's two masterpieces, and the only one of those featuring DiCaprio.

The Aviator is an unconventional biopic ahead of its time. It paved the way for Oppenheimer. It has the best and most accurate depiction of OCD and mental disorder in general ever portrayed on film.
It should have won Best Directing and Best Picture over Million Dollar Baby.
I'm sure it will keep grow in terms of love and reappraisal as it keeps being rediscovered.

I gotta go with Wolf of Wall Street. 3 hours of cocaine riddled fun. I could almost snort the coke myself through the theater screen when I saw it, the film was so palpable.
Plus it’s my favorite DiCaprio performance in a Scorsese film. I think with DiCaprio, I prefer fun, breezy, and light DiCaprio and not the serious, tough, edgy roles he does (Gangs of New York, The Departed, etc.) So I got Wolf.
Also want to give a shout out to Shutter Island for DiCaprio’s masterclass New England accent in that one.
Doohly Appointed Fedahral Maahshals!
