Well...Sans Soleil is my favorite. And one of my favorites in general.
Besides that, I'm partial to The Last Dance and the Lee joint When the Levees Broke. Tho me being a 90s NBA fan and an '05 Hurricane Katrina evacuator does skew my perspective.
I'm sure theres more I prefer than those 2, but I can't think of any and I'll edit in as I see the choices.

Favorite as opposed to best...... The Filth and The Fury which is also THE best movie about Rock and Roll ever made imo .........and there are not many good ones documentary or otherwise.......in the way it tells the story of The Sex Pistols - and could never be about say The Clash or The Ramones - it seems like a great fiction ........almost like you can't believe it ever actually happened .....which of course, unless you know the story - you sort of can't....and even knowing the story it is difficult to fully comprehend.....artistically....culturally.....historically They meant it.....man........

Feature length I might go with Cow, Italianamerican, or Samsara.
If we go longer then it's over to King Ken - Not For Ourselves Alone, The Journey of the Corps of Discovery, The Civil War, etc.

Jesus Camp
Both hilarious watching children pray to a bowling ball and a cardboard cutout of George W. Bush, but also fucking terrifying and infuriating watching these adults do this shit to kids. Ive been to a catholic jesus camp, and it was nothing like the one here, so that gets personal bonus points for me
