Fuck. Fuck. One of the true hall-of-fame character actor greats. I'm gonna miss this sweaty sumbitch.

"Well, ma'am, if I see him, I'll sure give him the message."

"Well, ma'am, if I see him, I'll sure give him the message." RIP LEGEND. It really bums me out that he stopped working with the Coens after Raising Arizona. Every single one of their movies would've benefited with Walsh's gleeful mug in it.

RIP to an always memorable character actor, who stole scenes with relish.

RIP Memorable many times, never more than as Dustin Hoffman's parole officer - in 1 of Dustin's best performances too - in the great Straight Time (1978)

For like a half-century one of the most distinctive and always worth-watching dudes to ever show up in movies (and TV). What a career, what a voice, so many great directors worked with, so many great movies elevated. I think Critters was the first thing I ever saw him in, and he's been iconic to me ever since. Special shoutout to his turn as the apothecary in Baz's Romey and Jules, where that face and that voice are paired together with some of the best words ever written to tremendous ends.

Oddly enough I just watching Camp Nowhere where he plays one of the cops. RIP Mr. Walsh.

Okay, but did you know he's in The Scorpion King 4?
