As for dudes, I think it's Daniel Day-Lewis for me... and I ain't seen him fail either. Eversmile, New Jersey is on my watchlist, though He's bad in The Crucible, especially in the last scene.

No, since my favorite actor is incapable of giving a bad performance. She was even good in that hot garbage dumpster fire Movie 43 so that's evidence enough for this claim.
Edit: Just realized that both actors in my avatar were in Movie 43 lol. Well Naomi has definitely been bad on some occasions so I was talking about the other one.

Her first Oscar nominated performance is bad. For all the talk of her being "today's Diane Keaton", she was not very good in either of her Woody Allen movies.

Y'know, having just watched The Taste of Things, I've come to the conclusion that my favorite actress may very well be Juliette Binoche, and no, I haven't seen her be bad in anything. Not that I've studied her entire filmography but still. She really is one of the great ones, an all encompassing face from the very beginning, one day she's a truck driver, then she's Coco Chanel. Although I think the 00s was a weird time for her, there's the Haneke films and a few charming movies but she had way too much suffering women in her catalog and it became quite repetitive. Thankfully the 2010s was a generous decade for her (and for a few other french actresses) and she gave me the impression she could do it all (if it was up to me, I'd give her the win 3 times that decade). Slack Bay is probably the stinker from that period and you can tell some actors are regreting the contract they signed but not her! I think she's having a ball.

Well Naomi Watts is my favorite and I don't care, she might have been bad a lot of times but Movie 43 is definitely not one of them😍

I do think GOATS like Pacino, De Niro, and even Brando can give bad performances. However, I don’t think I’ve seen a bad performance from my top 2 actors which are Humphrey Bogart and Toshiro Mifune. Bogart has been in movies I don’t care for such as The African Queen (which he won undeservedly though) and Sabrina.
What about least favorite actors who were good? I only find Pauly Shore to be slightly tolerable in Encino Man.

Well... I do think Kidman is legitimately bad in both Cold Mountain and Nine Perfect Strangers... Why oh why was the latter renewed for a second season? Maybe The Undoing, too...

I know this is just my opinion but I find Denzel Washington, an actor I usually really like, absolutely unwatchable in Roman J. Israel, Esq..

The thing about my top favorite actor Christian Bale is that ALL of his performances have been praised (or at least not disliked; regardless of the movies successes)... and yet at the same... many of his famous performances have ALSO been famously disliked by some such as American Psycho, American Hustle, Batmans, and so and so forth. I believe he is the epitome of the risk-taking actor and the risks he's frequently taken have not always worked for everyone, naturally. Me, I have not watched all of his performances and some of his earlier obscure works I can't even track down (like I'd really love to watch his performance in one of the early Father Brown iterations on Brit TV and would love to check out the Patricia Arquette and Robin Williams starrer adaptation of Conrad's The Secret Agent in which Bale played Arquette's brother who was ... well "used" for the "main event" of the plot by I think the character Robin plays.)
But to answer the question more straightly, I could not connect with his Harsh Times character (even tho' that too is highly praised) so I still have never finished it and only watched I think only a third of that movie. So I think that counts? I couldn't decide while watching whether it was his character that I just couldn't tolerate or the way he was playing it.
