I have a soft spot in my heart for his Oscar-winning performance, but I'd still probably choose Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood overall because that movie only works because of what DiCaprio's bringing to the table (whereas Pitt and his storyline actively hinders it). Don't Look Up is a wet fart of a movie and his performance in it is far too tic-riddled for my liking, but the worst is comfortably his most recent. I hope PTA can work his magic with him, because the guy's on a bad regression path now.

1. OUATIH 2. Killers of the Flower Moon 3. The Revenant 4. Don't Look Up

Ugh, this is Leo's weakest stretch. Revenant is a nothing. Dalton has some well-acted scenes but a wack arc, completely underconceived. He's fine in DLU but it's mostly a shrug. Solid in KoTFM, but hardly his better work despite being better than the other nominees besides Murphy.

Dalton has some well-acted scenes but a wack arc, completely underconceived. Hollywood may be a lousy film and his character may have "wack" writing, but his performance does everything humanly possible to overcome those challenges. It doesn't fully succeed, but nobody could have - I'd have been happy with an Oscar win for that instead of The Revenant

OUATIH. He was better than the Oscar winner that year.

His collaborations with Scorsese are all pretty bad. He's much better with other directors.
