Has to be someone he hasn't worked with yet.

Out of this list I voted for the Goose, but I'd really like to see Edward Norton or Michael Fassbender work with Nolan, as I think they'd handle the "clinical" feel of Nolan's dialogue fairly well.

Sydney Sweeney. Just imagine: the flow of images, Ludwig's music rising, and then the haunting final line... "I believe we tit."

Based on how much Nolan apparently liked Aftersun, I'm gonna guess Paul Mescal.

True. Looks like every director wants to work with him. Nolan loved La La Land, Blade Runner 2049, and First Man, and hasn't hired Gosling yet... Nolan is a space nut and is obsessed with the original Blade Runner, so I feel like he would have loved First Man and BR2049 no matter who starred in them. And even though Gosling was nominated for La La Land, it’s more a showcase for Stone.

I’ll go with Cooper out of those options

God how cool it would be to see Tom Cruise in a Christopher Nolan film! 😍 Something like Memento

I still want him to work with Rockwell after they were seen laughing it up at the 2017 Oscar Luncheon.

Reunion with DiCaprio again?
A more serious and realistic answer would be a non-movie star like Cillian Murphy and John David Washington in his last two movies.

Nolan seems to be interested in the 'it' people. John David Washington in Tenet, Florence Pugh in Oppenheimer. I could see him casting Austin Butler in his next film.
