Continuing on with the best brief performance:
The General Guidelines:
- Performance must be in less than 10% of the film. - Should be in no more than 3 scenes (and really only one scene should be a long scene) - These are general guidelines to be followed not hard rules (though I will disqualify if it's too much of a stretch to consider the performance brief). - Feel free to list Honorable mentions but will take first name if you don't specify.
My Choice:
What's yours?

Rupert Everett as Wellington in Napoleon
Swinton in The Killer is a very close runner up

Gary Oldman's Harry Truman in Oppenheimer was a treat. I feel he was only in there for a couple of minutes, but created a really complete picture of a bloodthirsty, warmongering bastard who wanted credit for dropping atomic bombs on Japan. The way he so quickly turned on "crybaby" Oppenheimer when he realised Oppenheimer had a conscience, was both shocking and hilarious

Can we allow Cara Jade Myers? Okay, she probably appeared in more than 3 scenes (always brief), but she definitely was less than 10% of that 3 1/2 hour movie.

Carey Mulligan in Saltburn
If no one votes for her then Swinton in The Killer.

Casey Affleck in Oppy for sure Oldman and Malik also get big ups
But I do wanna shoutout Alden Ehrenreich, even tho I dont think he qualifies. As short as his actual screentime is, he is sprinkled across a good amount. I still thought he was great, especially towards the end giving that last line to Strauss

Cara Jade, most effective and memorable.
I found Lewis Pullman very effective in that Caine Bounty Court Martial movie. I think he's less than 10% as well.
