I'm thinking:
- Barbie - The Holdovers - Killers of the Flower Moon - Oppenheimer - Poor Things

I think you have two "lone director spots" with Zone and Anatomy of a Fall and Holdovers and Barbie take those spots.

The only ones I'm certain of are Oppenheimer and Poor Things. Then there are five films for the remaining three spots.
Surprised American Fiction doesn't have a single vote yet, since it's the crowdpleasing TIFF winner and one of the few movies that actually overachieved on nomination morning. That said, I left it out myself because I think The Holdovers takes the small-scale crowdpleaser spot due to being win-competitive in three above-the-line categories with one being pretty much a lock.
Anatomy of a Fall's package of Picture, Director, Actress and Screenplay is too strong to ignore so that leaves Barbie and KOTFM duking it out for the last spot. KOTFM's steady decline during awards season has been remarkable, culminating in snubs for Actor and Screenplay, and Gladstone missing top 3 at BAFTA. So despite Barbie also missing crucial categories I'm going with that one as I feel KOTFM has basically lost all of its steam outside of Best Actress.
