Skins was the "gritty" dramedy British teen show that produced much of the last wave of young British screen actors that made big waves in the Industry. Including, but not limited to Daniel Kaluuya, Dev Patel, Jack O'Connell, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Murray, Joe Dempsie, Joe Cole, Kaya Scodelario.
Euphoria is the American gritty teen show that seems to be introducing a new bunch of young stars to Hollywood. I won't count Zendaya, because she was already a big star when she was cast in the show. But nobody had really heard of Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi or Hunter Schafer before, but they are becoming stars of the moment, particularly Elordi and Sweeney. I could have seen Angus Cloud having a career like Channing Tatum, had he not died.
So which show do you consider the better factory for producing young talent?

It's absolutely Skins thus far. Euphoria has a solid stable rising now it remains to be seen how long they can hold that momentum; we've seen hot rising stars burn out quick in the past. Meanwhile, Skins has several actors who have at least been around long enough to see them more or less cemented in the public consciousness, and who don't feel like they're going to be flavours of the month.

Feels like a solid take. It's hard to argue that against Skins having had a big headstart over Euphoria in terms of allowing it's alumni to establish themselves. But that's mainly based on the former show coming out much earlier. I do think the potential ceiling for pure bankable movie stardom of some of the Euphoria stars is higher than any of the cast of Skins. Daniel Kaluuya is a star and an Oscar winner, but if Jacob Elordi becomes a thing, Hollywood will try to turn him into a star the magnitude of Pirates Era Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt. I think Hollywood execs are practically salivating at the prospect of Sydney Sweeney becoming the new Angelina Jolie or Cameron Diaz or whatever. Though I am interested to see if Monkey Man can turn Dev Patel into a fully fledged bankable action star.

This is essentially gonna be Americans vs British pissing contest. Football vs Futball. Burger King vs Fish and Chips.
But... it's Euphoria for me. I can't get enough of Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and Zendaya - attractive Onlyfans level kinda hot actresses - up and coming at that.
For clarification purposes, I've never seen Skins or thought about it. But it's a rare occurence for me to choose anything British over American. Even in futball, England can never WIN a major tournament.

Skins, though Euphoria has some time. Maude Apatow, Austin Abrams, Storm Reid, Algee Smith, Lukas Gage, etc.

He already made his bones in high profile projects. Same for Storm Reid. I already knew who she was before Euphoria, because she was the lead in A Wrinkle In Time.

They do have a head start but I voted for Skins just off of Kaluuya and Patel alone.
