It'll be either Kidman or Winslet, who would also be the two I'd root for the most. I'd say Winslet has more momentum for a second win.

Winslet's winning this year, people. Yes, she definitely could if Wonder Wheel is her Blue Jasmine. Even if she doesn't win this year, I think she'll be the first to win a second Oscar. I don't see Halle Berry ever being nominated again because she's in a worse position than the other actors. She's won many acting awards, but I don't think she's ever been thought of as one of the greatest actors of her generation like Winslet or Kidman. Plus, any good roles for women of color in her age range that she doesn't produce are probably going to Viola Davis first now. Before Our Brand Is Crisis flopped, I thought Bullock would be nominated again one day, but now I think she'll be similar to Berry in that they'll never be nominated again. (Although unlike Berry, she at least got a second nomination.) I don't think she's all that interested in working that much now, and whatever momentum she had after her win plus Gravity has faded now. It's possible she stumbles into another nomination, but I really don't see her actively pursuing projects that are baity. I think Kidman will be nominated again, but I don't know about winning maybe in Supporting. Even though she has such an esteemed reputation, I'm not sure she's as well loved like Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep, so voters may think that multiple nominations plus one win are enough reward for her. I could definitely see Witherspoon winning again someday, and as the youngest of the actresses she certainly has more time than the others. It may be awhile, but I could definitely see her producing a project that is another Oscar vehicle for her. With Winlset, I was a little bit worried that after she won because there was such a dry spell there that maybe voters would move on, but then she was nominated for Steve Jobs and probably second place, so I definitely see her winning a second one day. I think it will be sooner than later because she seems to be on track to where she was before she won in going after Oscar friendly projects.
