Of her five Oscar-nominated performances, which is your personal favorite? With the possibility of her being nominated for May December, would you please rank all six of these performances?

Easily Far from Heaven. As for the ranking:
1. Far from Heaven 2. May December 3. The Hours 4. The End of the Affair 5. Boogie Nights 6. Still Alice

The first four are majestic. May December is really good. The End of the Affair is fine but less memorable.

Wouldn't include her in a list of favorite actresses but she's pretty much always reliable. All of her nominated work is good, that's for sure.

She should have 8 nominations:
1) The Hours, 2002 2) Safe, 1995 3) Still Alice, 2014 4) Far from Heaven, 2002 5) Boogie Nights, 1997 6) Maps to the Stars, 2014 7) The Kids Are All Right, 2010 8) The Big Lebowski, 1998

Very hard. I love them all, and think "Still Alice" is an underrated win. Definitely should've got more nominations.
1. Far from Heaven 2. Boogie Nights 3. Still Alice 4. The End of the Affair 5. The Hours
I'll put "May December" between "Boogie Nights" and "Still Alice" if she gets a nom.

And they're all so rich and different ( May December included)! I know she often gets flack for playing "unhappy 50s housewives", but I truly believe this is only because she received the double nominations in 2002. Far from Heaven and The Hours are totally different films and acting challenges.

Just wanted to come here and say her snub is disappointing as she was better than all five nominated performances.

Just wanted to come here and say her snub is disappointing as she was better than all five nominated performances. I would rank Randolph above her (by a hair) and I haven't seen Brooks, but I agree with this.

Just wanted to come here and say her snub is disappointing as she was better than all five nominated performances. Moore was totally robbed. I really cannot understand how people can write Ferrera's name as #1 if they have also seen May December.

Still Alice is one of the most underrated oscar wins of all time. Such devastating work.

Do you think she'll ever be awarded the Honorary César? Or be Jury President at Cannes?
