Oprah shouting 'Oppenheimerrrr' in her voice truly feels like such a culmination of everything J. Robert worked for. He must be looking down on this moment with such pride, realizing it was all worth it.

Awesome wins. Let this be the official big deal start of the Murphy train, or the Cillian Express if you will.

YAY GLADSTONE! So thrilled! Richly deserved for an AMAZING performance! Glad I could root for her here since she's not up against Stone. Wish she was in the CORRECT category at the Oscars (she's CLEARLY supporting) so I could root for them both and celebrate both of them winning. Cuz yes, with her narrative and performance, I think she could easily have beaten Randolph. Why did you have to pull a damn Michelle Williams, Lily?!? 🤷♂️
Beautiful speech too! Actress will definitely be another Blanchett/Yeoh-like showdown this year between Stone & Gladstone. No one else has a chance in hell, period.

Bradley Cooper should make a biopic of Bradley Cooper craving for that golden prize. He ought to play Nolan in a movie about the making of Oppenheimer.

She'd easily win in supporting but I think she won't have any trouble winning in lead either. I don't even think we've got a Blanchett/Yeoh thing here. It's gonna be Gladstone all the way.

Mostly ok wins I guess. Nothing egregious but nothing really cool either (except The Boy and the Heron).

Poor BCoop's gonna have to eat giraffe bladders on camera or something to start winning stuff Shame though. Guy's a decent comedic actor and i wish he goes back to making that stuff for a change instead of these Oscar bait.

Stone could easily win. Her performance, imo, towers over all other performances of 2023 the way Blanchett's did in 2022. And I know Cate lost, and Gladstone's performance is vastly superior to Yeoh's, but Yeoh was a clear lead, a veteran, and starring in the BP frontrunner. If Gladstone wins SAG, I'll concede she's the frontrunner.

I mean, I think he's great and I love him in Maestro so I feel kinda bad for him (and I think he'd definitely win under the old HFPA membership)... but Murphy is my performance of the year (Poor Things unseen) so I sure ain't complaining

Cooper deserves a grand total of zero Oscar nod. He's already been nominated way too many times and deserves no accolades whatsoever.

Its a good touch that Nolan let Emma Thomas take the prize and give the speech. Sends signals to voters that there's a woman besides him who pulled off this huge feat of a movie.

I'm still telling you that Bradley Cooper wins SAG and the situation will be turned around.
