Sandra and Da’Vine win. Actress is close. Supporting actress predictably is not.

As good as Randolph is in her film I am still very surprised by the extent of her sweep.

Nailbiter win for Past Lives in Picture but Glazer is a comfortable Director winner.

There's something beautiful about the years most beautiful film imo winning National Society of Film Critics BP - which was (I think?) the years best reviewed film nationally .....and winning nothing else.....

Nolan and Oppy for BP placing, with no KOTFM, Barbie or Holdovers in sight is all you need to know really.

Odd that Past Lives won BP and May December didn't even place despite them thinking the latter had better writing, better direction, and the best supporting actor. Past Lives didn't even place in director and May December wasn't a picture runner-up, insane.

Andrew Scott's stocks rose and Melton looks safer now after the BAFTA snub. How so? Melton also won NY so that's two out of three trifecta. I didn't say he would win, just that he seems safer with a nomination than after the BAFTA snub. Scott also placed RU at LA where theres no lead actor win so technically he also won two out of trifecta. So that’s a lot of passion. He's also Irish so he would have the British support. Both are also GG nominees and in English language films that likely won't be lone nominees. Did Andrew Scott kill your puppy or something?

What?! Awards season does such weird things to people. You just seem really sure about him not getting in. I'm somewhat confident that he won't make it, but I wouldn't have a problem with it (sight unseen, I do genuinely really like Scott in other things). I just don't think NSFC is a very good barometer, and I also can't see the film getting any other noms.
