Watched The Holdovers last night and the scene in the gym had me howling. When Giamatti said “do not cross the rubicon” I immediately said “the die is cast, motherfucker” then Sessa says it too but in Latin before doing a flip. I bust out laughing so hard and yelled out BASED

Two scenes from Priscilla that are seared into my memory - The first time Elvis takes Priscilla to Las Vegas - the heady rush of a gorgeous boy having eyes only for you - no one captures young female desire quite like Coppola. Also, such a contrast to the final scene in Vegas! And, of course, the wedding scene - Americana iconography at its finest:
