Please feel free to name off any actress or actor that you think deserves better .
I'll start...
1. Edward Norton (why the hell is he in Sausage Party & Collateral Beauty ??!) I truly hope he works with Fincher again or someone worth a shit.
2. Marisa Tomei ( she is sensational in a lot of supporting roles over her career. The Wrestler , In the Bedroom & Before the Devil Knows You're Dead). Also she has aged like fine wine , I really wish she would be the LEAD/center piece in a film sometime .
3. Garrett Hedlund ( he is not just a pretty boy . This dude has that rugged look / charisma to match . His last two films flopped HARD but I still see potential greatness in him . He was great in On the Road and I am reading great things about Mudbound so hopefully he'll get better/more prominent roles in the future)
4. Christina Ricci (No clue why her career isn't that good these days. I literally grew up on her films . Yes I am going all the way back to Now & Then haha)
5. Michael Pitt ( My favorite part of Boardwalk Empire. He reminds me a poor man's Leonardo Dicaprio and thats not a bad thing. Hopefully its not true that he is difficult to work with)
6. Nick Stahl ( This guy has some alleged drug issues, but during 2001 to 2005 , I thought he was great. Carnivale, Bully , In the Bedroom , Sin City etc) Hope he turns his life around and gets more opportunities cause he is still relatively young .

Norton would get good roles more often if he wasn't such a pain in the rear !

If he hadn't had a spending problem, maybe things wouldn't be so bad for him, but alas.

Norton has unfortunately picked up the tough to shed "difficult" tag. Up until 2003 or so he was being hyped as the best actor of his generation. Although he's been getting better parts recently with his Wes Anderson collaborations and Birdman.

Kevin Kline just played the famous Belle's father in the box-office smash Beauty and Beast, isn't that enough... You again ? So what if he was in a box-office hit not so long ago ? It doesn't mean that much .Besides , it's not as if he was a king of the box-office ala Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp. I was refering to quality roles. I realize he's been quite active on Broadway but he hasn't delivered a great performance on screen/tv in ages.

Diane Keaton. She's such a legend and one of the most unique stars we've ever had. She has a dark, serious side that she should explore in her later years.

I agree with Drishtii on Julia Stiles. I always forget it wasn't her that was Felicity - and that it was Keri Russell who was actually Felicity.
But she had the American thing, maybe not as homegrown as Julia Roberts or Anne Hathaway, but I find her way more interesting than both. I think she takes Mandy Moore's routine up a notch, from sappy to sophisticated.
