I don't think they saw Blackberry. Didn't really get a good release. My area didn't even release the movie into theaters.

I mean the movie looks fine but if it had been released in 2022 I'm not sure it would've even made the cut. And personally I'd rank it handily below my 10 favorites last year. I'm hardpressed to pick anything I've seen [yet] this year other than maybe The Killer (?) that's significantly better, but stacked against other cinematography winners "nothing special" is a good way to describe it... where was all this love for B&W when Tragedy of Macbeth was on the field? (or Lighthouse, or Cold War, etc)
