Haven't heard it .........but I can make a pretty strong case that Pitchfork is less hip - and writes less insightfully - about most contemporary Pop music than Rolling Stone and that's really saying somethng these days I actually do make that case weekly on MAR tbh I still check in to see what they say from time to time because you can always find a randon well written review...........but it's very much a hate read mostly for a long time now.........

Haven't heard it .........but I can make a pretty strong case that Pitchfork is less hip - and writes less insightfully - about most contemporary Pop music than Rolling Stone and that's really saying somethng these days I actually do make that case weekly on MAR tbh I still check in to see what they say from time to time because you can always find a randon well written review...........but it's very much a hate read mostly for a long time now......... it’s pretty much an hour and a half long instrumental consisting of a variety of flute noises and other digital instruments (wind inspired ones) that gives slight sci fi vibes (in a couple of the songs). there’s no singing or rapping at all haha. i actually quite liked it but you have to be in the right mood to listen to it (i was cleaning my place while having it on as background music). it’s like a type of zen you’d hear during yoga or listen to while hiking. to be fair pitchfork listed it as experimental as well (rap/experimental to be exact) but after listening to the album it’s just hilarious how rap was even on their minds as the genre to list. the ambient/new age genre listings are pretty much on point here.
