Rank the saga, and share your introductions to the series if you wish.
I was introduced to it late, and the whole Phantom Menace hype train completely passed me by. My parents had VHS tapes of the original uncut, untampered films that I watched one after another (I still have them in fact), and I distinctly remember different members of my family watching each film. My parents with the first two, and my oldest sister with Jedi. Then I finally got to watch Menace on video, and I considered that one my favorite (I was seven, give me some slack).

My family used to own a VHS copy of the original film which I would watch incessantly when I was younger. Eventually I got around to the others.
My ranking:
1. Star Wars
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Revenge of the Sith

6. Attack of the Clones
7. The Phantom Menace

My first exposure to the Star Wars series was actually through the LEGO video game (yes, the one that ruined ROTS a month early). Not long after that I watched 1-6 with the family over 6 weeks. My Dad is a big Star Wars fan, the rest are more indifferent towards them. My ranking:

The Force Awakens
Return of the Jedi
Rogue One
Revenge of the Sith
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
The Last Jedi is my second most anticipated for the rest of the year behind Dunkirk.

To be honest, I don't even remember how old I was when I first saw Star Wars. I know I was very young and it just seems like it's always been there.

I can't remember a time before I was into Star Wars. There are pictures of 3-year-old me dressed up as Darth Maul for Halloween and all throughout my childhood I've been watching the movies. My older brother also loved the movies so I'd frequently watch them with him since neither of my parents are into the series (my mother actually has some bad memories related to the first one). When I was a little older, around 7-8, I would go over to my grandmother's on the weekends to help keep her company since she had just had her leg amputated and her girlfriend often worked weekends. While there, I showed her the movies since she had never seen them and she really loved them. Just a couple years ago, I showed the original trilogy to my girlfriend since she also hadn't seen them and she enjoyed them. When The Force Awakens was coming out, my brother and I were super-hyped, buying advanced tickets for the earliest screening and such. That was for me what The Phantom Menace probably was for a lot of people, only the film thankfully delivered.
I have a hard time ranking the movies individually, so I'll just break it up by category with the rankings within the categories being in order of release:

First saw Star Wars when I watched the special edition copies on VHS. It's been a classic series for me and just about everyone else since childhood. Happy 40th anniversary.

Star Wars / Empire Strikes Back (these things hold up)
Return of the Jedi / The Force Awakens (pretty flawed, some great moments)
Revenge of the Sith / Rogue One (very flawed, some good moments)
