Two major musical themes for female characters, both beginning with the same ascending two-note melodic leap (different starting notes but spanning the same melodic interval).
I personally prefer Marion's because it’s more of a schmaltzy love theme (which I’m a sucker for) – the rising triplet figure after the initial two-note leap, followed by that aching descending leap (at 0:05-0:06) is just *chef’s kiss*
