US police say they have arrested a criminology graduate in the mysterious killings of four university students in the state of Idaho over six weeks ago.
Police named the suspect as Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28. He was arrested in Pennsylvania over 2,500 miles (4,020km) from the crime scene.
The students were found stabbed to death in their beds in a rental home near the campus on 13 November.
Police say the suspect lived in a town nearby to where the murders occurred.
Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen were all found dead in their home in the small university city of Moscow, in northern Idaho.www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64130503

Wow!!!
So he was PHD candidate in criminology. He followed the two girls on social media. I wonder if before or after he killed them. It appears to me that this was a thrill kill to see if he could get away with it.

Yep.Just a straight up psychopath who wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone. This is one of the sickest crimes I've heard of in a long time, absolutely brutal.

His ego is probably off the charts. He couldn't get rid of the car because that would have been a dead giveaway and he probably though living in a different state was enough to not put him on the map. Can't wait to hear what he has to say because he's probably a talker.

Here's his Reddit / Research Study post - pretty fascinating in how it's placid to read under ordinary circumstances - and takes on a whole other tone now. I mean, I guess you can say that about any crime but in this case it is some chilling stuff.......

I guess he didn't realise there were 2 more people in the house, or he would've killed them too.Imagine how they must feel. They'll be traumatised for life.

I wonder if anyone turned him in. After looking at his picture and some other pics of him, I realized that his nose looks out of place. Someone put up a fight. He must have just been one of those invisible people. He had the same car and his appearance changed and nobody noticed???

Has anyone heard this story - unconfirmed - that the suspect called in to a radio show and "pretended" to be someone else - to throw out a theory about a fraternity to throw people off?
I can't find it online - but it was mentioned on Inside Edition (I know, I know, not the best source) and people who know him identified his voice
That's pretty amazingly sociopathic .......if true.....

So one of the surviving roommates saw Bryan Kohberger in the house and didn't call the police for another 6 hours?.I don't think for one second she was involved,it's just odd that she waited so long.

After more info dropped about this case and based on his research questions, his motive was not even a thrill kill. I think he did this because he wanted to know emotionally how it felt. He had to experience it himself.

That could be it.She may have been so wasted she didn't fully comprehend what was going on.She must feel a lot of guilt, because what if some of them were still alive and could've been saved?.

Maybe she wasn’t drugged or wasted and she just thought he was just some guy her roommate was banging? Remember these are basic, white sorority girls. Probably not an unusual sight for her to see some random stranger leaving her friend’s room in the middle of the night. I’ve seen some suggest she was in on it and convinced the guy to kill one of her friends, with the others being collateral damage but I think is a ridiculous claim

You think she played a part in this? No. That's why I think she was on drugs. I read one post elsewhere that mentioned that due to a prior life experience of hers that caused PTSD, she often has night terrors and hallucinations at night and that it might’ve been a case of her believing that she was just “seeing something.” But that’s a random post online, so take that with a grain of salt.

In addition to this ^ - this is a post made online by someone people "think" was him posting under a pseudonym.......pretty fascinating if you're into this stuff which obviously I kinda am Consider that not a single expert or crime reporter mentioned the possibility of a sheath before December 30, the day of Kohberger’s arrest.
Police did not confirm until a month after the post that it was a knife sheath that contained Kohberger’s DNA that helped lead to his arrest.
Was it a coincidence that an anonymous Facebook assumed this accurate detail? Or did the account creator know something the public did not?
The latter is not the only possibility connecting Kohberger to the account.
See, Pappa Rodger has not posted on Facebook since Kohberger’s arrest. After frantically commenting on the case for over a month, that account vanished as police cuffed the suspect away.
