In Ina Garten's new show, 'Be My Guest', she asks her guests (the Emily Blunt episode has been my favorite so far - can't wait to make her pasta recipe!) the following questions at the end of each episode: What's the movie you've seen the most?
One food that makes you happy?
Best gift you've ever received?
Worst job you've ever had?
Best job you've ever had?
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? So, your turn to answer the questions as if you were cooking with Ina!

In Ina Garten's new show, 'Be My Guest', she asks her guests (the Emily Blunt episode has been my favorite so far - can't wait to make her pasta recipe!) the following questions at the end of each episode: What's the movie you've seen the most? Something starring Mr. Denzel Washington ........ I watch my favorite movie - Chinatown every year on my birthday - or around it. .........I'm 261 ....... One food that makes you happy? ........ Chocolate I guess for "happiest" - I mean has anybody ever said "pacinoyes - try this chocolate" and "I said, Nah, that's ok, I'm good" Best gift you've ever received? I have a close friend who has given me over the years a ton of stuff with my favorite music things on it - coffee mugs, shirts, mouse pads, pillows, hoodies, magnets, pins, ........ all kinds of music stuff is on them - The Replacements, Elvis Costello etc......... all stuff that's distinctly "me" - she's a GREAT gift giver.....not sure I could narrow it to 1 - but it's one of hers....... Worst job you've ever had? I worked retail for a day.......I felt so .........violated Best job you've ever had? My current job as a numbers cruncher - Overlord of Simpleton Wage Slaves....... because I've had it for years - I can do it easy......it's very conducive to posting here actually - like if I wanted to - I could not do my job for the whole day, post on here a lot and catch up on my job in like 90 minutes or less ...........I also am the owner of another business - and that's good because my boss is pretty funny (um) If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? "pacinoyes! - we are so happy to see you! We thought you'd never die! - thanks for recommending all the good Rock bands .........the Leftist Atheists of MAR always say "Oh shit, pacinoyes was right?!?!!!"

What's the movie you've seen the most? There's a handful of movies I watched constantly on rotation when I was younger, so it's hard to say. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, Batman (1989).... one of those 3 probably.
One food that makes you happy? Pizza... been having it for dinner every Saturday for as long as I can remember.
Best gift you've ever received? I guess my first car in high school
Worst job you've ever had? Kohl's... wasn't actually that bad, just got tired of it after a while
Best job you've ever had? My first job ever working at a mom-and-pop video store. Free movies!
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? "The music library is to your right, the books are to your left, and the movie library is straight ahead next to the IMAX theater..."

What's the movie you've seen the most? - Lost in Translation (2003) as an adult; Beauty and the Beast (1991) as a child. One food that makes you happy? - Spaghetti with meatballs! Best gift you've ever received? - A framed print of the iconic photograph 'CHARLOTTE RAMPLING AT THE HOTEL NORD PINUS II, ARLES, 1973', signed by Helmut Newton. It's the one thing I would save in a fire. Worst job you've ever had? - I've honestly never disliked any of my jobs... Now, co-workers are a different story. Best job you've ever had? - I really loved volunteering at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? - "Your loved ones have been waiting for you!"

What's the movie you've seen the most? Hands down, Jurassic Park. When I was a kid it basically never left my VHS player so I don't think it'll ever be possible for any other flick to top it unless I go all Howard Hughes locking myself in a room with empty milk bottles and one other movie on a loop or something.
One food that makes you happy? Pizza always does the trick.
Best gift you've ever received? My ex-girlfriend who was also my big love once presented me with a phone I still use to this day so I guess I'll go with that one both because of its enduring practicality and of its sentimental value. And also becuase of the sheer shock of it since at the time I didn't expect anything of that level at all.
Worst job you've ever had? I once worked as a salesperson in a toy store (not a sex toy store though... for better or worse) for a month and that kinda sucked because you weren't allowed to sit down during your 12-hour day except for your break and it was just immensely boring. Not to mention that I hated the nature of the job itself - I went there just because I needed money. Technically there was a worse case when I worked in an electronics store where I knew literally nothing about the stuff I was supposed to sell but I ran from there after four days and never got paid for those so I feel that it shouldn't fully count.
Best job you've ever had? The one I have right now - translating TV shows and movies (mainly movies these days) for local audiences. And I mean for legit TV stations and official theatrical/digital releases.
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? "Don't worry, I'll watch over the ones you love who are still down there. Now go hug your parents and then go on and meet Steven Spielberg"

I studied Norwegian when I was at the university but that evaporated right after my graduation. I know a little bit of French though - that's from school years. One of my life regrets is that I never continued to study it. Well, there's always time!

I'm definitely jealous of your linguistic skills! I would never, ever guess that English is your second language.

What's the movie you've seen the most?probably It's a Wonderful Life. Watched it every holiday season growing up and still like to put it on every few years. One food that makes you happy?Pizza. It's the one fast-food I couldn't live without. Best gift you've ever received?Dislike receiving gifts these days but got some cool ones growing up. Most memorable was a LEGO police station set. The big $100 sets were rare and that police station was the biggest & best I ever got and I milked hours of fun out of it. If I had a comfortable expendable income I'd probably still collect LEGOs. Worst job you've ever had?Wendy's. Always worked the closing shifts so had to get rides at 1 or 2AM. Usually came home with food and couldn't sleep until 4 or 5 so would wake up the next day in mid or late afternoon. If I had two days back-to-back it would be a soul-crushing cycle of getting home late, getting up late, and then having a couple hours before having to clock back in for 8 bucks an hour. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. And my feet hurt constantly. Horrible job. Best job you've ever had?My current one just because it's soooo low effort. I just need to find an easy job that pays a lot more. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?"I know you didn't believe in me, but I believe in YOU. Enjoy heaven."
