Didn't see that coming says all the delusional people. The end game for this SC is to fully gut the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

10 Republicans could easily - maybe even likely (?) - vote for this in the Senate.
.............and if they don't - you just have to go and vote in your local state elections in November for the Senators who will.
It's not that complicated, don't delude yourselves ........the Left position on gay marriage is way, way stronger legally than Roe was - "50 years" or not.......and not only that - Gay Marriage is far less under attack atm.......it's also far easier to actually codify into law......you couldn't even get to 50 votes on Roe - let's not rewrite what actually happened and why Obama didn't try to codify Roe with a super-majority....
.........you're probably at 55 already on this......

well, his son is a better person than I. I would not want to talk to him ever again because he values his donor money over his heart.

50 years of Roe - gone 100 years of NYC gun law - gone 200 of Indigenous sovereignty - gone Literally all it would take is someone to contest same-sex marriage on religious grounds (specifically Evangelical Christian grounds) and they would win at this SC. Same-sex marriage and LGBTQ rights/anti-discrimination law is anything but "safe" and anyone who says otherwise is naïve or gaslighting you. It’s gotten to the point where now professors in law schools aren’t sure how to teach the law.
