I was thinking something like an NCAA March Madness style tournament. There'd be separate brackets for athletes of each sport (football/soccer, American football, basketball, baseball) and the winners of each bracket would square off in the end in a Final Four and then a Championship. Please PM me a list of your favorite 16 athletes from those sports (past or present). #1 would be worth 16 points all the way down to #16 which is worth 1 point. You can include any number between 1 and 16 but they'll be worth less. You don't have to have a list for each sport either (for example have a Top 16 for soccer and football but not basketball and baseball).
Voting will be open for 1 week but I'll expand that time if needed.
FYCs are welcome in the comments.

I'm watching O.J.: Made in America right now, so you know who's getting my pick.  Actually, I hate sports (more specifically, I hate the attitude and mindset that has come to define sports), so I wouldn't be voting in this. I don't watch them, I don't follow anything about them, and I would only know names of some of my parents' favorite athletes (my mom was friends with some pro baseball players in her day; she would watch all of the games as a kid and got to know some of the players pretty well and still keeps in touch a little bit with some of them). So no, I'm not interested, but I don't hang around here anyway. |
