Tarantino definitely watched this one. He lifted several scenes. It's definitely one of the biggest influences on Kill Bill, with the spaghetti western Death Rides A Horse also getting several notable references as well.

What's interesting about it is that it has such... heart. For all the talk about the violence and bloodshed and the influence on Tarantino, what I came away with is how sad the whole thing is. It's a heartbreaking portrait of a woman who becomes trapped into this life because she no longer feels herself deserving of any other. As someone who struggles with those same thoughts, it hit a chord.
I think the movie has some shoddy pacing that drags it down considerably, but I appreciate the movie for what it achieves in the dramatic department.
