I can't believe when all this went down the participants were acting like, oh, we just wanted to talk it out. Hell to the no, had they found either Nancy or Pence they would have killed them. By the way, meanwhile on Fox News, they are not showing the hearing.

Anybody who paid attention to the Jan 6th hearing should be hesitant to vote Republican ever again. And yes, the people who should be viewing this, are not, and simply ruling this as "liberal propaganda".

I'd be more inclined to care about these hearings if they weren't cynically in Primetime tbh - on every network except Fox - because it feels like a desperate publicity stunt even though the actual work is legitimate and necessary.
The work of this committee will be gone in 148 days when Congress flips - nothing will come of this - not legally or politically - this does not correlate to Watergate where the President engaged in a clearly identifiable crime ......for these hearings to have their full impact you'd have to indict Trump - the indictment would be the evidence of a crime - as it is.......it gives 50% or more of the country a free pass to ignore the hearings.
It's not a win for the Democrat Party imo - although when the Roe verdict is announced - these hearings help stoke the divisiveness - the rest of the Summer will be a landmark period in US Politics tbh .........and not in a good way.......America feels very much like a powder keg........

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with this. You seem to have taken the red pill here. Lets review:
1. This is the first-time since the Burning of Washington, when rioters stormed the capital. This is not normal. This is not sane. Every American should be equipped with the facts. We need to learn from this experience and find ways to stop this again.
2. Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. It was not stolen from him. His staff all told him he lost. There was no massive voter fraud. He understood this, and continued to lie to the American people and misinform his supporters.
3. Trump committed an impeachable offense. He incited violence and put the state of our democracy / republic at risk. Every president has conceded after losing, except for one. One of our most precious honors -- the peaceful transfer of power -- didn't happen here.
4. Based on what you wrote above, it is evident, if haven't been paying attention to what the January 6th commission put together. We literally had a documentary filmmaker record the ENTIRE riots and showed the faces of the wrongdoers. He showed videos of Trump's supporters reading his tweets out loud. What was Trump doing during the storming of the capital. He was in the White House, watching television, admiring the insurrectionists and making comments about how Pence deserved to be hanged. All of this came from the mouths of Trump's own staff and Fox News personalities. They told him to tell the crowd to go home and accept the results of the election: He did neither.
5. It's being shown primetime, because it is important. People should have the right to know what exactly went down and who were the villains and the heroes. This is not some partisan witch hunt. The evidence is clear, except you and others on the right refuse to hear reality. That's just the bold truth. We want transparency. When we get it, the new argument being presented is "showboating" and "publicity stunt". You can't have it both ways. There's absolutely no dispute on what happened. It was an insurrection, inspired by lies by the former President.
This all may sit with you, but it doesn't for me. And keep in mind, the purpose was never to put Trump in prison, but to show the public what happened.

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with this. You seem to have taken the red pill here. Don't apologize, you can disagree. Trust me I haven't swallowed the red pill ...........but given our inflation and the outrageous cost of my grocery bills these days I may be forced to eat whatever I can to live, you know?
* It's being shown primetime, because it is important. No, it's being showed in Prime Time in a cynical effort to stop the mid-terms which it won't. .....the case IS important, but the presentation is not. Ymmv and apparently does.......ok.
* And keep in mind, the purpose was never to put Trump in prison, but to show the public what happened. If you can't indict him (at least) - then there is no point to shove it down the American publics throat again in this cynical way. If there was not a criminal act - and so far, I haven't heard of one - then it's not Watergate. That's all I'm saying......this committee's work gets washed away in ~150 days......that's a shame .......but it's true.......
Here's a clip of Megyn Kelly - today - watch it - in the first few minutes she reveals "some" of the hearings BS "theatrical presentation" and "dramatic embellishment".......and if you think Megyn Kelly's is biased.......well she is ..........but she ain't wrong.......

You claimed that you haven't been taking the red pill, but then you show us a right-wing video, featuring Michael Knowles, a far-right-winger obsessed with transgender people. How ironic.
Let me ask you: Do you disagree with any of the evidence being presented in these hearings? Yes or no?
The January 6th hearings doesn't make the GOP look good. That's for certain, at least the Trump-faction of the party. I see nothing wrong with airing these on television. If the networks want to do it and public wants to see it, I see no issue. What alternative format would you prefer? Because apparently airing at convenient times (and mainstream television) for people is too much for you to handle.
BTW - the title of that video says "propaganda". Obviously they will not be talking about Trump's lies here.

Why is a primetime airing an issue? Most people watch TV on demand anyway and if they were unavailable or during the day they would just go to YouTube and watch later.
In fact, the Depp trial was doing the day and people still watched it. A lot of people are still WFH.

* I think the evidence was already revealed in the impeachment hearings - I don't think in this form - and in this form it is propaganda actually - it means too much of anything, at all. No. ........it's a staged show imo. Let me see if I have this straight - having an open mind for any Right Wing commentators - Kelly or Knowles (?) - is evidence of my "taking the red pill" - GTFO - what an intellectually vapid thing to say - it must seem that way to you I guess because you won't even watch 2-3 minutes of a video that might challenge what you already think - and that doesn't even involve Michael Knowles in the first place.Let's go back and leave it at you "strongly disagree" with me..........that sounds about right.........Shrug

I watched your video. Very predictable. They addressed none of the major points being made. It was all about nitpicking.

* Was it though? Was it "nitpicking" to point out how the hearings purposely mixed videotape with different audio laid overtop as narration to mislead viewers? I don't call that "nitpicking" - maybe you do (because you were misled I guess?) - I call that propaganda - and NO ONE brought that up that I saw - except Megyn Kelly - so give her some credit - because she watched those hearings a lot closer than you watched the clip OF Megyn Kelly apparently....... * I don't dispute the evidence - neither did Megyn Kelly - she was arguing the dishonesty in the "show" - and she's right ^ - I dispute them being in Prime Time across almost all channels in a BS production that cheapens their intent - by playing on emotionalism and outright fabrication - unnecessarily - and where they hired the producer of Good Morning America - to make into a "show" - in a crass politicalization designed to attempt to sway votes in the mid-terms to their Party.......... rather than their stated informative purpose.

All what you're doing is (a) believing what Kelly and Knowles said as factual, (b) Ignoring the bigger picture presented, which are all facts.
It is indeed correct that Trump praised the protestors and has never condemned the rioters. These are reality. That is what the point was.
Has Kelly ever called Trump dishonest, especially when it came to the election? Has she called out the Big Lie?
This is the typical right-wing game. Run with the nitpicks and ignoring the meat of the matter It's pretty terrible you have fallen for the red pill. Did you vote for Trump or Biden in the 2020 election?

I watched the hearing.
Also, quit saying "Knowles" - it's Kelly's statement ONLY and she proves it IN THE CLIP - without Knowles involved at all - in the first 4 minutes ......................which you would know IF you actually watched it
* Has Kelly ever called Trump dishonest, especially when it came to the election? Has she called out the Big Lie? Of course she has - use Google - she's hardly "Pro-Trump" she has done so quite often, how could you not know that? Oh right, you don't engage with "right wingers" ..........
* Did you vote for Trump or Biden in the 2020 election? Neither - I refused to vote for either trainwreck at the top of the ticket - use the MAR search function for Godsakes - I've discussed it many times on this board - and throughout all of 2020 while you were busy developing an algorithm combining Golden Globes, BAFTA wins, the temperature on Mars divided by your bowel movements and whatever the fnck else it is you do in your spare time and that hasn't been wrong since 1948 or whatever.
I was a life long Democrat - who had always voted Democrat at the top of every Presidential ticket - ever - and am now registered as an Independent since 2021 because I think the party has lost its mind and is (almost) as bad as the Republican Party - sort of like Elon Musk feels ..........without his billions but with way better taste in bands.
* I will be working on a Democratic Governor candidate's election campaign this summer during my vacation time.
So...................trust me you don't know wtf you're talking about - at all ............. so stop talking ......people can feel differently than you .............let them.........and stop turning everything into a war..........thx

But it wasn't dishonest. Trump has never condemned the rioters and only praised the protesters. And on top of that, you never answered my question. When did Kelly call Trump dishonest for January 6th or the big lie? You're trying to discredit people for presenting facts. I have never seen you criticize the right for their dishonesty. As I have said before, I am not a Democrat or a Liberal either. Due Trumpism, I see the Republicans are far worse than the Democrats. Not a fan of the Democrats here.

That is absolutely dishonest and false.........you disagree - ok, fine with me, I see it as clear dishonest Democrat propaganda. * Kelly speaks on the big lie AGAIN - today - at 27:30 (let it play out for several seconds) of this full clip - I just told you to use Google - there are numerous examples of her POV saying verbatim Trump Lost The Election - She has a pretty big podcast - her feelings are very easy to find on a variety of topics including that one. That was Megyn Kelly's point - why would the Committee select that later audio clip of Trump's to play over riot video footage ........unless their intent was to mislead their TV audience......
Very sad they did that ....totally unnecessary......completely indefensible.....

He had 5 months to reflect on the events and he still claimed that that protestors were peaceful. That's worse. Trump does not condemn what happened on January 6th. He embraces it. He just said two days ago that the Capital attacks represented the greatest movement to make America great again. Excuse me?? Anyone who signs off on this is a moron.
