Rockets are shooting out of their minds, and I'm wondering what the hell is LaMarcus Aldridge doing out there on the floor. He needs to get more aggressive and back down this Rockets defense rather than kicking out the ball immediately every other time they pass it to him. If he could get going in the paint, then that they open up the perimeter and then the Spurs can get their ball movement going, but forcing the issue with bad three-point shots right now (4/17!) is just giving James Harden extra offensive possessions. Unless the Spurs get some contribution from anyone other than Kawhi and to an extent Parker, Rockets will make this a quick series. There's no way that the Rockets shoot like this all series and Popovich is the best coach ever so I trust he'd make the necessary adjustments. I see no way this series doesn't go at least 6.

There's no doubting Pop will ingrain the film of this particular game into his team's subconscious, but I think it's going to all boil down to Rockets having far too many offensive weapons for the Spurs to contain, especially if Leonard is the only one doing the scoring. For the first time in a while, the signature ball movement that we've come to expect from San Antonio is glaringly absent and as a result, they are being made to look distinctly average. Grizzlies exposed them many times the last series but they got away with it -- can't see it being the case this time.

Isaiah Thomas might be my favorite player in the NBA. The work ethic, craftiness, and heart he displays each game is unbelievable.

I read a tweet that said how it's ironic how he has the smallest body yet the biggest heart. He just displayed one of the best performances I've ever witnessed.

Kawhi Leonard's gigantic hands give him such smooth ball control on contested shots. NBA commentators usually compare everyone to Jordan, but in this super-specific instance Kawhi is just like Jordan.

That was a nasty looking injury to Parker; wonder how long it will keep him out.

That was a nasty looking injury to Parker; wonder how long it will keep him out. He will miss the rest of the playoffs with a quad injury. Patty Mills better step up as new starting PG. I'm telling you, CP3 could be a massive improvement over Parker, he's not getting any younger, and this could very much be Ginobli's last year.

My heart breaks for Tony. He was playing so well this all too brief playoff run was the most energized I'd seen him look since probably the year they won that last title. Once again, injury just cuts him down.

Well, looks like it didn't take long for Popovich to figure out D'Antoni's offense. 34.6% shooting so far for the Rockets, 27% from deep.

What the fuck is this series? Rockets make their 3s, they win. Last two games Spurs obviously played great, but Rockets were missing wide open looks.

Spurs gotta stop settling for threes, they should be attacking the Rockets inside.

D'Antoni sticking with the seven man rotation was just stoooooooooooooopid. Dekker and Harrell were solid contributors for the majority of the season (Dekker especially) and D'Antoni refusing to expand the rotation when everyone was dead tired out there is the reason they lost (along with Harden-- who was obviously tired as hell-- going iso mode and just dribbling out 20 seconds of the clock every possession in OT).
Still think the Rockets can take the series.
