I really hope CP3 wins a chip before his time ends; still my favourite PG in the league. He'd have a better chance if the Clippers got rid of Blake Griffin and got in the market for Paul George.

And down goes Blake Griffin. He will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a toe injury.

mikediastavrone96 bruinjoe96 Agree with both of you. This so called 'Golden Era' for the Clippers has been nothing but a what could have been scenario. It's time for them to shake things up, or for a couple players to maybe find pastures new.

Curry and Thompson continuing to struggle against the Trail Blazers. Warriors will need some major defensive adjustments and find a way to get one of them in a rhythm if they want a chance of winning.

So, yesterday delivered 3 pretty outstanding games, dramatically at least. The Pacers were horribly unlucky to go out the way that they did. I reckon they'd have given any of the other 6 teams in the East a run for their money. Cavs did super well to dig themselves out of that regular season slump, and Lebron's 3 and then steal at the tail end of the 4th were magic.
The Thunder and Rockets game kind of broke down, but damn if that 4th quarter wasn't high class melodrama. Adams and Westbrook's little move at the end was a play for the ages, and it's a damn shame they couldn't complete the miraculous turnaround, but I guess that's their fault for throwing away their lead, and after absolutely dominating the first half only coming out of it with a 4 point lead.
Jazz and Clippers was just beautiful. God damn Utah is my kind of team, god DAMN Rudy Gobert is a beast, and double damn the two Joe's are a real pair of heroes. As bad as I feel for rooting against Chris Paul, Utah just has to pull this off. Gobert vs. Green is too tasty to pass up. It'll put Harden vs. Westbrook to shame! Either way this'll probably go 7, and that'll be a beatdown, but fingers crossed!

I can't wait until NenΓͺ wins Finals MVP. Do you remember that series a few years ago where the Wizards went into Chicago, and he just fucked them up? Didn't think he would ever get back to that level again, but once again he comes up big on the road when his team needs him. What a cult hero. If Iguodala got it, why can't he?

So, uh, Golden State is looking pretty scary. I know it's Portland and all, but with Durant back to help space the floor and keep defenses from being able to lock in on Curry (especially off-ball, when the refs let a lot of stuff go in the playoffs) and Draymond playing at an MVP level I just don't see how this team loses barring injury or the aliens from Space Jam stealing their talent.

These Thunder/Rockets 4th quarters must have been excruciating to watch for OKC fans.

These Thunder/Rockets 4th quarters must have been excruciating to watch for OKC fans. This was game 2 all over again. Granted, OKC were in a more perilous position and facing elimination, and with the rest of the team struggling to hit shots it was on Westbrook once again to dig them out of a hole. OKC need to surround Russ with knock down shooters in the off season; their offense is so limited.

Westbrook was gassed with six minutes left in the fourth, and they only had one timeout left. Rockets played like shit for the majority of the series and still gave them the gentleman's sweep. I love it.

Rondo's injury really turned out to be a major turning point in that series. All of a sudden Chicago lost that pace, craft and stellar PG play that he brought to the team. Credit to Boston for taking advantage of that and dispatching this Bulls team.
Utah better hope Gobert is healthy enough to play a substantial amount of minutes in game 7 after rolling his ankle. I think they needed to close out the Clips tonight; now I feel CP3 and co. will go home and take care of business.

Watching this beautiful, beautiful Jazz team get fucked up in the next round is going to be a tragedy.
But what a series this was.

Is it time to break up the Clippers?

Is it time to break up the Clippers? It's been time. I've thought for a while that the Clippers should get rid of Blake Griffin and get an all-star talent that can create his own shot and stretch the floor (i.e. Paul George). Griffin's skillset does not win championships in this day and age and is at odds with the play of DeAndre Jordan, who should be given more offensive touches off the pick-and-roll, and Chris Paul.

Rockets are shooting out of their minds, and I'm wondering what the hell is LaMarcus Aldridge doing out there on the floor. He needs to get more aggressive and back down this Rockets defense rather than kicking out the ball immediately every other time they pass it to him. If he could get going in the paint, then that they open up the perimeter and then the Spurs can get their ball movement going, but forcing the issue with bad three-point shots right now (4/17!) is just giving James Harden extra offensive possessions.

Unless the Spurs get some contribution from anyone other than Kawhi and to an extent Parker, Rockets will make this a quick series.
