Right now I say none. Kotsur is its biggest shot at the win, and they're trying for it, but it might be too little too late.

Kotsur definitely.
Screenplay depends but less likely.

Kotsur definitely. Screenplay depends but less likely. I was about to sincerely ask why 'definitely'?, and then I remembered how anti-Kodi's chances (and TPOTD's in general) you've been all season. More power to you I guess.

We'll see what happens on Sunday at the SAG awards but for weeks I've been thinking Kotsur.

It doesn’t. Even Kotsur I think may be too late

I'm tempted to vote for 'empty-handed' but I'll wait for them SAGs. I'm definitely not using the word 'definitely' in relation to Kotsur's Oscar chances but I can't help but feel that Kodi is a bit of a weird frontrunner, and if anyone can overtake him, it's probably Kotsur. Let's see if the SAG folks transform the season.

If Plemmons splits the POTD vote with McPhee, Kotsur wins. I don't think that will end up happening, though.

Would be overjoyed if Kotsur pulls off an upset but I'm not betting on it.

If Plemmons splits the POTD vote with McPhee, Kotsur wins. I don't think that will end up happening, though. Plemons won't be splitting the vote with Smit-McPhee. Nowadays if there are multiple contenders for the same film and one of them is a far-and-out frontrunner, the other contender rarely makes any sort of dent in their vote tally, and I highly doubt there would be enough people voting for Plemons out of that lineup to funnel votes off of Smit-McPhee that it would cost him. If Kotsur wins, it's because he has enough passion to overtake Smit-McPhee outright.

Bump. Does CODA winning 2 SAG awards change your mind? Yes it does! 'Kodi the weird frontrunner' theory confirmed I'ma be predicting Kotsur now.

After SAG, I think Kotsur’s got it. I think he’s more comfortable in his position than Chastain is in Actress (still predicting Kidman, come at me elmius)
