Sorry about that, it appears we detected some vote tampering. The actual #1... 1.Quite frankly, I didn't want it to end. ~ Brother Fease with 474 points from 26 voters LICORICE PIZZA

Thanks again to everyone for voting and following along. Stay tuned to the AMARAs sub-board feed ... Sharbs should be presenting those AMARAs nominees any day now...

Pretty good list, even though only 9 from my top 25 films of the year made it in this top 50. But I can't complain, it was a pretty stacked year. Great job guys!

I'm far behind on the year, and there's only one movie from 2021 I've seen that I unreservedly enjoyed, so I couldn't vote.
Did anybody vote for The Amusement Park? Easily my #1 at the moment.

Wonderful brisk work fellas, pretty impeccable top-20 even if #1 was a disappointment and happy Wrath of Man was able to sneak in there

A bit late, because I was on the road, but fun list, fun result, fun everything. Great job Viced, and DeepArcher.

I really like this list, with a few exceptions. Great job, @viced and @deeparcher!
Was Happening not eligible?

I really like this list, with a few exceptions. Great job, @viced and @deeparcher! Was Happening not eligible? I think it technically would’ve been but it’s not really been made available in the U.S. yet, to my knowledge. I haven’t seen anyone on this board talking about. We could possibly re-litigate and deem it eligible for 2022 if it picks up some buzz here further down the line.

So apparently I did miss the deadline (I sent my ballot before 12:00am today, but just 5 minutes before), so...MAN THAT SUCKS!! I was pretty stoked after voting in the last 2 presentations, but yesterday was a truly impossible day so I'm proud I even came that close.
For the record, this was my Top 20 that I PM'd to Viced:
1. Licorice Pizza 2. The Worst Person in the World 3. The Hand of God 4. Bo Burnham: Inside 5. Dune 6. Drive My Car 7. Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) 8. Nightmare Alley 9. Petite Maman 10. Titane 11. C'mon C'mon 12. The Green Knight 13. Spider-Man: No Way Home 14. The Last Duel 15. Last Night in Soho 16. Encanto 17. The Mitchells vs. The Machines 18. tick, tick...BOOM! 19. kid 90 20. CODA
Oh well, thank fucking God that my magnificent #1 pick Licorice Pizza still got the #1 spot without my help. If it came in #2, I would never forgive myself knowing I could have been the difference. So kudos to my fellow Licorice lovers for putting it over the top! Also thrilled that Worst Person in the World made the Top 5, but, knowing the strength of the Top 4, I doubt my #2 vote could have helped it place higher. On the other hand, my points might have helped The Hand of God and Bo Burnham: Inside crack the Top 25.
