I've been wanting to focus more on specific years and hopefully showcase some underseen films. It was a terrible year at the Oscars, but 1985 had some great horror gems and coming of age films. Hope you enjoy!

Lovely work!! Kudos and all the Return to OZ, such a great movie; and creepier at times than almost any horror film I've ever seen.
1985 is one of my favourite years in film. I definitely think in terms of high quality mainstream cinema, it has to be considered among the very best.

So 80s!!! too bad it's too short, still wanted to enjoy more movie scenes from that year. Did u forget one of the greatest films of the year, Prizzi's Honor?  why the dope Charlie sheen looks so cute in it? lel I don't like Prizzi's Honor.  |

Great video. Love that Return to Oz mention. Very underrated film.
My top five of 1985 would probably look something like,
Ran
Back To The Future
Come and See
The Color Purple
Brazil
I also need to Shoah, though I'm aware that it's a real long film as well, so it's gonna take a lot of time out of my schedule just to watch it.
Lots more films for me to see from this particular year of course.
