Which films gets noded for director, screenplay, editing?

80% of best picture winners scored directing, writing, and editing nominations. Green Book (Director), Birdman (Editing), Argo (Director), Titanic (Screenplay), Driving Miss Daisy (Director), Ordinary People, Annie Hall and Godfather Part 2 (Editing) are the most "recent" exceptions.

If we look at the Guilds, we saw that Dune and Licorice Pizza were the only nominees to get a PGA, DGA, WGA, and ACE nominations. Belfast and The Power of the Dog probable would have scored the WGA, if they were eligible for the award. West Side Story was eligible for the ACE Drama, but lost out to King Richard and No Time to Die.

Don't Look Up, King Richard, and Tick Tick Boom! got nominated for the PGA, WGA and ACE, but didn't get the DGA nomination.
