Who are taking the last two slots in Best Picture

Gucci and Macbeth. More confident in the former.

Basically it comes down to the passion picks:

TToM - I don't see it unless it's theater nerds (which is me, of course) and cinematography geeks. Nope but with reservations - I keep waiting for this to overperform - it's given me no sign it will. How long must I wait?

HoG - Which is for lovers of fun trash (also me). I think it just misses - 11th....pulling for it though - could easily steal 10.

Nightmare Alley - Which is for noir freaks (also me, yet again) - behind HoG I think.....loved the last hour but ......

BtR - Classic TV geeks, people who like to lie to themselves a lot about what is good, adults who are in their 50s but think they look in their 30s when no one else does.........I don't see the passion here either.


TTB - Hetero but even more specifically non-hetero, band geek contingent, lovers of grand emotionality, colorful (but white) central characters ........not only is it in (at 9) - it's in with fncking jazz hands. Doubt it at your peril.......

Drive My Car - It's got an outside shot at screenplay and director and no one wants to admit but actor - which would seriously fnck up everybody predicting the same EXACT 5 BA nominees on MAR like it was foretold in a prophecy. I'mmina say it's 10 because 11-15 are all - merits aside - not generating the love this movie has........which may be small......but small beats nothing......in the case of the ones missing.
