Are you talking, like, dill pickle soup? Because that sounds disgusting. But sticking pickled vegetables in soup should work fine, I don't see why it wouldn't.

I got it from a bakery and it's like... cream of pickle. I was imagining a brother or brine as the base, but it was so creamy. Cream of celery is no problem and I consider myself to be pretty far from a a picky eater but... It also wasn't nearly dill enough. Back to deep fried pickles I go.

I've never had pickle soup but one of my default places for lunch - a sort of supersized fancy deli - has a Pickle Bar - which you know is basically all the free pickles you can eat while you're there and people go mental for it.

Cream of anything is a no from me, but ESPECIALLY cream of pickle. Like, pickled vegetables could probably work well in a more acidic sort of soup with a kick to it, but cream and pickles DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. This sounds like the worst idea possible.
