Lets see here: The Golden Globes and Critics Choice awards nominated Belfast, CODA, Don't Look Up, Dune, King Richard, Licorice Pizza, The Power of the Dog, tick tick BOOM!, and West Side Story for Best Picture. Cyrano got nominated for Best Comedy/Musical at the Globes. Nightmare Alley got nominated for Best Picture at the Critics Choice awards. House of Gucci received a SAG Ensemble nomination. AFI named The Tragedy of Macbeth in their top ten list. Drive My Car won the LA film critics and NFSC best picture prize. Other strong contenders here are Being the Ricardos, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and The Lost Daughter.

I'll echo what everybody else is saying in top 6 - then HoG and No Way Home are close to locks here and CODA and Licorice Pizza are not imo and could be picked off potentially. When you get to the bottom of the top 10 there's a lot of room for surprises with implications:
Coen is a favorite of this group but I've said it before it's hard to read passion for TToM (aside from Ellen Barkin, um) and it's an ace production if that gets in - its Oscar odds jump big time.........same with Nightmare Alley but that's probably DOA......Lost Daughter is a wildcard and may be situated better than both of them but that's a lot of Netflix properties if it is.
TTB I read A LOT of passion for - in actor and Picture and everyone sorta still underestimates it.....the biggest threat imo of any bubbling under
BtR is a possibility at 10 and if that gets in it's a major plus for Kidman and negates Gaga's perceived advantage.......that is actually the most interesting thing to watch imo
The Power of The Dog Belfast West Side Story Dune Don't Look Up King Richard
House of Gucci Spider-Man: No Way Home Licorice Pizza CODA

Yeah I could see Spider-Man missing. I know it’s also Sony, but I thought Marvel movies have a bad track record at PGA. Of course it’s still such a weird year that I could see it being nominated since it’s one of the few big success stories.

I know that many are predicting NWH because it made so much money, and I am too, but we live in a world where comic book movies, especially from Marvel, do well regardless. The ones that got nominated at PGA became sort of cultural touchstones and had something very specific to their movies (Black Panther, Joker, Wonder Woman, Deadpool) that made them stand out, while NHW stands out only because of its relatively expected box office performance. House of Gucci makes much more sense as a success story.
That said, I still think NWH is in, while Licorice Pizza is sliding down, at least so it seems, but the prestige of a PTA film could save it.

I think that’s underselling why NWH stands out and what it accomplished in terms of bringing together three separate franchises (which most people would have thought was impossible probably only a few years ago).

Here's my three cents on the issue: Belfast, CODA, Don't Look Up, King Richard, The Power of the Dog, and West Side Story are your locks. Belfast, CODA, DLU, and KR were nominated for Best Picture at AFI, Globes, Critics Choice and SAG awards. TPOTD and WSS won the Globe for Best Picture in competitive categories.
Dune, Licorice Pizza, and tick tick boom! have an extremely high probability of getting in. Dune was nominated for picture and director at the Globes and Critics Choice, and seen as the technical marvel. LP has received recognition for directing, writing, and three acting categories. TTB! is getting major buzz due to Andrew Garfield's performance.
That leaves one last category, and I am going with Being the Ricardos. The film is getting actor, actress, supporting actor, and screenplay attention.

Well is this announced anyway? 27th of January. They are announcing the ACE, PGA, DGA, and WGA all on the same day.

I am not sure why "made so much money" is a relevant variable here. Wonder Woman made AFI's Top Ten list. Black Panther, Joker, and Dead Pool were nominated at the Globes. Which best picture lists has NWH made so far?
NWH is a very good movie, but I am not really confident this will actually get in. This seems more like a Twitter prediction or wishful thinking than anything else.
