These are my two faves from 2003 in general.

Both films are great, but I think Memories Of Murder has the edge in everything except cinematography. It was definitely the more interesting film of the two for me.

I prefer Memories of Murder, it's just more my kind of film, but they're both amazing. Throw in Tale of Two Sisters, and Spring Summer Autumn Winter and Spring, and this year was the crowning glory of the Korean golden age.
