Which of these 15 shortlisted films do you think are gonna be music to the AMPAS ears?

So let's see:
1. Dune 2. The Power of the Dog 3. The French Dispatch
^I feel pretty confident about these ones but then it's a bit tricky.
4. Spencer 5. Don't Look Up
Predicting a double Jonny Greenwood combo already feels risky enough but there's also a chance that the branch will find his Spencer work to be as inaccessible as the movie itself. But so far I'm sticking with it because I don't quite know what else to fill those last two spots with. DLU doesn't really feel like something this branch nominates but if they like the movie enough it can get in. Britell has been singled out a couple of times for it so who knows, maybe they'll find things in that score to recognize.
I can kinda see Zimmer get two nominations in one go with No Time to Die if they respond to it enough, or The Harder They Fall the score of which has been praised and nominated by various groups (I haven't seen it so I don't know what kind of music it is). Iglesias got the Globe nomination for Parallel Mothers but I don't quite see him repeating here. Encanto got in the Globes too but I think the songs may just overwhelm the score for the voters. Perhaps the moody strings of Macbeth will make an impression on them? Kind of a tough category to predict!

Not predicting a double nomination for Jonny, as much as he deserves it. 1. Dune 2. The Power of The Dog 3. The French Dispatch 4. Don't Look Up ( ) 5. Parallel Mothers

Dune Don't Look Up Encanto The French Dispatch Power of the Dog
least confident in Encanto. Could see them going for Parallel Mothers for that Iglesias clout or Spencer for the double Greenwood nom (but that movie is feeling so DOA at the moment) or Macbeth as an artsy pick, but it could absolutely be something random like King Richard or Being the Ricardos. Oscar bait usually slips into this category.
personally I'd love for Last Duel to get in. That was a great score

Don’t Look Up is seriously in contention here? Alright, whatever.
Same five, but swap Spencer out with Encanto

I feel so sad that Shang-Chi's score didn't get shortlisted here. Absolutely fantastic work.
