Easily.
I've never really warmed up to her much as an actress, even though I admired her attempts to break free of the Twilight stigma by working with all sorts of auteurs. Her career picks have been great in that respect, but none of the performances really hit the mark for me.
Spencer, though, that was a revelatory performance.

Definitely. I wasn't expecting her to be that good, though.

Yes, certainly. She's been great before (Speak, Clouds of Sils Maria, Personal Shopper, Happiest Season) but her work in Spencer was on a whole other level. Brilliant fusion of technical prowess - the accent really was spot-on - and a more nuanced, complex portrayal of Diana that feels very specific to Stewart.

I think it is but Personal Shopper is really close. She is my personal winner for Clouds of Sils Maria, Personal Shopper, and Spencer - but there's no denying that Spencer is the greatest technical feat.

Yep. Personal Shopper is a close second.
