Too much Belfast; they nominate every actor possible except the MVP Judi Dench! also random but Grazer def out-voiced Tremblay! otherwise don't sleep on Cage - I do think he's getting in right now but a late-hello Leo worries me.

Cage has great reviews, and Neon is a good campaigner, but who the fuck in the Academy has seen that movie? Him getting nommed would shock me more than Dafoe's for At Eternity's Gate, and that one at least got substantial precursor love.

Was really wondering when this would happen: I liked Licorice Pizza a whole lot - but it is really "slight" to be cleaning up like it seemed to be doing.........and Macbeth is not an adaptation as much as it is adapted by the directorial choices and cuts more than the text......think you may see these 2 below start to clean up here. TPOTD is a thrillingly written adaptation .......I mean on the page it's quite risky you have to admit..........even if you didn't like it, a lot of work went into how Campion saw that screenplay.

She is the pretty heavy favorite right now at both Goldderby and the Vegas betting odds. Obviously I don't agree but obviously people who follow the Oscars think she is the frontrunner right now.
