I mean, it's cool but what the hell is the "Your Choice for the Film Awards"? I’m not entirely sure, but it looks as if it was a starry event in the 80s! Wouldn’t it have been neat to see Ava present Best Picture to ‘Amadeus’ at the Oscars? |

She's so compelling and endlessly watchable. I really wish the film industry took advantage of older actresses with this kind of natural gravitas. Most of them get so much more interesting as they age - Gardner was no exception. I would love to have seen her in the kinds of roles that Charlotte Rampling is getting now, for instance...
