should have been nominated for the Oscars instead of Passengers. Abel Korzeniowski did a wonderful job with A Single Man and this.
He got snubbed both times.

It's good. His Romeo & Juliet was better.
And there's a lot of stuff should have been nominated over Passengers (Kubo, Rogue One, Fantastic Beasts to name a few).

One of the very few things in this movie I didn't hate.

I loved the score to this film. Reminded me a lot of a modern take on the Bernard Herrmann scores to Hitchcock's films (mainly Psycho with the emphasis on the strings); thinking of the way Tom Ford wrote and shot this film, I'd say it's very much a modern Hitchcock film mixed with the touch of bizarre directly of David Lynch's filmography. This was the one really big nomination I'd hope the film would at least receive, but I was pretty disappointed with this year's Original Score nominees.
The opening track ("Wayward Sisters") and the final track ("Table for Two") are the best songs of the entire score, in my opinion.

It's a great score, powerfully haunting too, and it solidified Korzeniowski as one of my favorites composers working in the business. Between this, Penny Dreadful & Escape From Tomorrow, dude is one of the greats right now. He's not afraid to write "old-fashioned film music".

Best score of 2016 hands down.

I thought it was a pretty good score, especially in the final scene of the film.
