Doesn't look like it. He's a good actor, but I don't think he's this generation-defining talent that the industry seems to be pushing him as by casting him in everything. He's in real danger of turning into another overexposed Jude Law situation (when he became a punchline in the mid-2000's for the industry trying to shove him down everyone's throats in what felt like all movies at that time).
Law was a good actor as well, with some Oscar nods behind him also, but like Driver, nowhere near as great as the industry seemed to imagine he was. Law's career fully never recovered from that period of overexposure, where he gave a lot of solid performances, but few truly great ones.

For the poll, I voted no. He might have had a small chance in Supporting with TLD, but he has no chance at all in leading. Annette is too weird, and with House of Gucci while I’ve seen him be singled out by some, being sort of the “normal” one compared to the flamboyant characters around him likely won’t get him any kind of awards attention. Maybe the Globes, if they happen, and places like that that and the Satellites that nominate a lot of performances. Anyhow I think it was the pandemic that caused him to have three movies this year because The Last Duel got pushed back, and they wanted to release House of Gucci this year because of the 100th anniversary of Gucci. Three projects is a lot, but I don’t think it’s that unusual nowadays (Oscar Isaac had three projects be released this year, four if you count The Addams Family, so did Jessica Chastain, etc.) and not like Jude Law who had 5 films out in the same year. He only has 65 which is coming out early in the year, and then White Noise which will presumably be done by late next year. After that surprisingly he doesn’t have anything that he is lined up for, or at least that is publicly known that he’s signed up for. Yankee Comandante seems like it will probably get made with a different actor now years down the road, unless he produces or gets involved in making it because it’s unlikely Jeff Nichols will make it anytime soon, and if Nichols does end up being the one to make it, Driver will likely be too old and/or moved on. Other than that, I haven’t heard of any other future projects. I know he turned down Hook and some Marvel roles, so while I do think he wants to obviously be A-List, I think after Star Wars he wants to avoid the franchises for now when he easily could join a comic book property or do some kind of Disney adaptation. (Now watch his next project be exactly that. )

I'm gonna say no. He's definitely not getting in for Annette, they're running him in lead for The Last Duel (and his ink for that isn't as strong as one would think), and he's similarly running lead for Gucci and is considered the more low-key and subdued role, which probably isn't flashy enough to muscle into the Top 5.

I really wouldn't compare him to people like Jude Law or Ewan McGregor though (actors who really tried to happen around the 2000s), it's apple and oranges. Driver really seems to be the real deal, regardless of him getting no nominations this year. Hell, even Scorsese called him "the finest actor of his generation".
He's a real throwback to the unconventional looking, intense leading men of the 70s such as Al Pacino or Dustin Hoffman. Plus, Annette, alongside Marriage Story, seems to be already considered a memorable career-best (some say even all-time level) performance, regardless of its chances in being recognized in the upcoming awards circuit, so i would say no, i don't think Adam Driver is in danger of becoming a flavor of the moment or a "has been" any time soon. He's here to stay.

I know franklin has alot of passion for Driver, but I don't get his appeal. Comparing him to Jude Law seems massively unfair to Jude, who made a striking impression immediately in his career. Driver almost seems like a hipster film twitter meme or something more than some actor who's amassed a number of weighty performances.

If you're the villain in a Star Wars trilogy and has two Oscar nominations, you already happened. It's just a matter if he will last as an awards darling or will stop as he is.

Honestly who knows but I'll say no for now. There's been weirder nominations in the past, but it won't be detrimental to his "legacy" (whatever that is for an actor in his 30s) if he doesn't get nominated this year. Legendary actors have gone years with no nominations despite their being in some contenders.

Maybe he wins NYFCC or something for all three like Fassbender in 2011, but I don’t think he’s getting an Oscar nom though.

Doubt it - but assuming HoG makes money and is Fresh on RT (it may not be!) he had a great, diverse year for a not getting nodded year.
I'll say what I always say - here's some American actors and their Triple Crown nominations:
How many of these guys are going to end up ahead of Driver who turns 38 in about a week and has a lot of years to go? Wanna bet?
These are the names he'll end up linked with and you can basically start at around the people who have 10+ ........I get why he's an underachiever - but by the time he's done he's gonna have a lot of awards, a stellar filmography and the "holy shit - he's great!" performances will come.
Gyllenhaal - 2 Cooper - 5 (6 and 7 coming this year?)
Driver 6
PSH - 7 Hanks - 7 De Niro - 8 Dustin Hoffman - 9
Kevin Spacey - 10 Denzel Washington 10 (11 coming this year)
Robert Duvall - 11 Paul Newman - 12
Jack Lemmon - 15 Al Pacino - 15 George C. Scott - 18
