I sometimes make good-natured fun of "Progressives" on this board - or at least THIS board's "progressives" (that's not the same thing exactly is it? ) - I'm a moderate man - unfashionable, I know, I know ........which you can actually tell because even when I spell the word "fnck" on here it's in a moderate way, isn't it?  But she seems like a huge deal - a mayor of a major NE city who is young, female and a PoC who has some kind of "mandate" to maybe really guide her city in a way that many other "progressive" mayors have really not (because they've often failed). Thoughts on her - rising star in the Democratic party - or destined to fail in a pretty tough town? I don't know much about her - fill me in....... @tyler?  |

I never been in Boston, and I have no clue who this woman, is. I deserve the best for the bostonian.- Still Progressive, doesn't mean anything.-
I don't know if "US Progressive" is the same of "Europe Progressive" or "Latin American Progressive".-
In Uruguay Progresive mayors and governors, are usually the word synonimous with dirty cities or neighborhoods.- Still there are a few exceptions.-
But usually you know where the mayor or governor from what party they are, because of how clean the city is. This is Uruguay and Spain, maybe in other countries is different, and progressist mayors makes the city more beautiful and turistic.-
I don't know exactly what a Progressist Mayor is in US, maybe in other country is like right wing mayor, which only difference is that believes is a lgtbq friendly and loves abortion.-
And how exactly she is a woman of colour?, I mean Hillary Clinton is a woman of colour (white) the same as Elizabeth Warren.-
white is a colour? Colour people were african americans. I don't think could be associated with asian americans or latinos (i hate that word).- |
