My all-time favorite. Can't narrow it down to a top five, or top ten. Here's a top 25:
1. Jungleland 2. Thunder Road 3. Born to Run 4. Badlands 5. Girls in their Summer Clothes (so underrated) 6. Dancing in the Dark 7. Cadillac Ranch 8. No Surrender 9. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 10. Ramrod 11. I'll Work for Your Love 12. The Wrestler 13. Born in the U.S.A. 14. 41 Shots (American Skin) 15. Nebraska 16. Glory Days 17. Wreck on the Highway 18. Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) 19. Death to My Hometown 20. Blinded by the Light 21. Streets of Philadelphia 22. Devils and Dust 23. Backstreets 24. Incident on 57th Street 25. Lost in the Flood
Growin' Up has always been my favorite cut of his and I took it to heart lyrically.......when they said sit down .........I stood up...........etc
In general, on albums I like him best when he throws ominous curveballs (Nebraska and Darkness on the Edge of Town) rather than hits with his more mass pleasing stuff, though I like and respect his almost all his work. Those two albums though I am more connected to than the rest.
