Spike Jonze and Laura Dern Well shit, she should've been in Her.

Also, Daniel Kaluuya would've made an incredible replacement for Miles Teller in Too Old to Die Young (even if I think the optimal version of that series is to do away with that character entirely and just focus on John Hawkes and Jena Malone's storyline, but I think that Kaluuya would be absolutely perfect at portraying that smoldering austerity that Refn makes his bread-and-butter.

HELENA MARIA - You know that was my favorite one! Also incredibly intrigued by the Lanthimos-Wasikowska idea. stephen - As who, Samantha? No... I'm still annoyed at how they treated Samantha Morton over that.

Johansson's brilliant in Her but I am interested to see what Morton would've brought to the table.

While I think this would be a great matchup, I initially mixed up this and the one immediately above it, and now I need Lanthimos + Pattinson. STAT.

Those are some great choices (especially Colin Farrell starring in a Wes Anderson film)
Honestly the only pairing that I don't agree with is Lucas Hedges starring in a Safdie brothers film. I don't get the appeal of Lucas Hedges at all and the Safdie brothers can do much better.
I'll add Leonardo Dicaprio starring in a David Fincher film (I can't believe that hasn't happened yet) That needs to happen ASAP

The Spike Lee and Viola Davis pairing would be fire. Can just imagine Viola being given one of Lee's direct to camera monologues. The one I don't see working and I can understand their reasoning for suggesting the pairing is the David Lynch and LaKeith Stanfield pairing. I just can't see it for that one.

I'm just picturing LaKeith Stanfield listening to David Lynch pitching him to be the lead in Eraserhead or one of Lynch's other fucked up / confusing films He'd be like "Da fuck is this old ass white dude talking about?"

Some of them are good. I like Spike Jonze and Laura Dern. I'm interested in anybody suggested for a David Lynch. Why do you think LaKeith Stanfield was? I don't know his work.

I never got around to watching that one because I heard it was a comedy series and I'm not really into comedy shows.
